The logistics
generating from South Korea to North Korea and vice-versa, is different
from the standardized concept generally adopting in the world logistics
market. The South Korean flag vessels are not basically allowed to enter
the North Korean major port I.e Sunbong, Najin, Hungnam, Nampo, Songnim,
Haeju and etc, owing to the complicated problems including political situation
remained unsolved between two countries for more than 50 years,
Accordingly, the shipment is being operated by means
of the 3rd country carriers on tramper basis, with loading port definitely
indicated as the 3rd country port and also simply passing through the
3rd country without actual stevedoring. And the direct voyage between
South and North is being sailed in the international waters, as well.
When it comes to carrying in/out of the consignment,
booking, stevedoring, inspection, customs clearance in the process of
logistics between South and North, is Toplas ready to proceed the relative
shipment along with acquainted knowledge and information as to what and
how Toplas has to do for our customers. In the mean time Toplas will make
efforts for the coming shipment to and fro here and there, anticipating
the unification between South and North in the near future.
